CARE GUIDE

Made from natural materials, our pieces are crafted so you can wear them for decades to come.  Leather and wool are durable materials that last, but also need care once in a while. Want to know how? Read more on how you can maintain and refresh your pieces below.

SHEEP LEATHER

For our collections, we mostly use sheep leather because of its great luster and durability. It’s a versatile material that is widely known for its grain structure. As it is polished with a wax finish, the leather skin is durable and outside dirt won’t easily affect the material. But just like humans, the skin of animals can show small scars, pores or discoloration. Please know that these aren’t material flaws, as it only shows the authenticity that is distinctive for genuine leather pieces.

To keep your leather piece looking its best over time, a little care goes a long way. Before wearing, we recommend treating it with a water-repellent spray — hold the spray about 30 cm away from the garment and let it air dry outside in dry weather. Try to avoid wearing sheep leather in heavy rain, but if it does get wet, gently pat it dry with a soft cloth.

Prolonged exposure to sunlight, artificial light, or moisture can affect the leather over time, so it’s best to store your item in a cool, dry place. Always hang your leather garments on a sturdy hanger to help them maintain their shape, and avoid storing them in plastic, which can trap moisture. Also, if you’ve just applied perfume, oils, or moisturizer, give it a few minutes before putting on your leather piece to avoid contact with those substances.

Finally, when it’s time to clean your item, we highly recommend bringing it to a professional leather specialist. With the right care, your leather piece will continue to age beautifully and stay with you for years to come.

WASHABLE STRETCH LEATHER

We’ve developed our stretch leather in collaboration with the original pioneers of the concept, perfecting it over the years into the premium quality known today. Each piece is ultra-light and fused onto a cotton-Lycra base for exceptional stretch and a smooth, second-skin fit. To maintain their shape and quality, a few simple care steps are recommended.

Before and after washing:
Run an empty cycle to clear detergent residue.

1. Wash cold and inside out
Turn the item inside out, don’t fold, and wash at or below 30°C.

2. Use short, delicate cycle
Select the gentlest, shortest program preferably wool—with no spin cycle.

3. Use minimal liquid detergent
Add a small amount of soft leather detergent or baby shampoo to the detergent drawer (not the drum). Please use liquid detergent only, as it dissolves better than powder.

4. Remove immediately and dry flat on a towel
Remove the item as soon as the cycle ends. Don’t wring, tumble dry, or expose to sunlight or radiator heat. Lay it flat on a towel to dry for 24–48 hours to prevent color transfer.

5. Iron carefully

Once dry, rub gently by hand to soften. Iron both sides using a cloth between the iron and leather.

Note:
Machine washing may change the leather's look and feel. These items are washable for hygiene only—not appearance. Bright colors may fade. The pants regain shape and suppleness with wear but they aren’t rain-safe. This kind of moisture may damage them.

GRITTY SUEDE

Gritty suede is a rugged and characterful material with a coarse, tactile texture that gives each piece a unique and authentic look. Unlike soft suede, it has a sturdy, slightly rough surface that conveys a bold and distinctive style.

To keep gritty suede in great condition, careful maintenance is essential. Avoid water and excessive moisture, as these can leave marks or stiffen the texture. For everyday care, gently brush the surface with a soft suede or leather brush to remove dust and dirt while preserving its rough finish. Small stains can be treated with a suede eraser or a lightly damp cloth, always blot, never rub.

Store your gritty suede items in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Hang jackets on broad hangers to maintain their shape, and keep smaller pieces in breathable dust bags to protect the surface.

For deep cleaning or stubborn stains, we recommend taking your gritty suede to a professional leather or suede specialist. With the right care, gritty suede stays bold, characterful, and durable.

SUEDE

Goat suede is a very well-represented material in our collections, as it possesses the perfect balance between classy and cute. Unlike most kinds of leather, suede is made from the underside of animal skin, in stead of the upper side. Therefore, suede is also more delicate and should be treated as a luxury material. It lacks the toughness of normal leather, but is much softer and more comfortable when worn on the skin.

To keep your suede pieces looking their best, a bit of care goes a long way. Before wearing, we recommend treating the item with a water-repellent spray. Hold the spray about 30 centimeters away from the garment and allow it to air dry outside in dry weather. Because suede is a delicate material, it’s best not to wear it in the rain. If your item does get wet, we advise taking it to a professional leather specialist to avoid damage.

Over time, suede can show signs of wear such as discoloration or greasy edges, but these can often be refreshed using a suede cleaning block. To preserve the material, it’s also important to avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight, artificial light, or moisture, as these elements can alter the texture and color. When storing your suede items, never use plastic, as it can trap moisture and damage the leather. For thorough cleaning or restoration, always rely on a leather specialist who understands how to care for this beautiful and sensitive material.

WOOL

Wool items are the perfect transitional pieces that work all year round. We use a premium quality blend that is made from 80 percent pure wool. Our pieces are made from a double-faced wool that required a particular finishing technique only possible through hand stitching. They are amazing for styling all year round, especially in combination with our leather items.

To ensure your wool pieces remain in beautiful condition season after season, it’s important to care for them with a bit of attention. Wool is a natural and refined material, and for cleaning, we recommend taking your garments to a trusted dry-cleaning service. Machine washing is not suitable, as it can damage the delicate fibers and affect the fit and feel of the piece.

When it comes to storage, cleanliness is key. Before putting your wool items away, make sure they are free from food stains or body oils—this helps prevent moths, which are naturally attracted to such residues. Always hang your wool jackets on a sturdy clothing hanger to help them keep their shape, and avoid folding them for long periods.

Wool also doesn’t respond well to extreme conditions, so it’s best to store your items in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, artificial light, or damp environments. With the right care, your wool pieces will remain timeless staples in your wardrobe, ready to wear year after year.

LINEN

Linen pieces are timeless essentials that combine effortless comfort with refined simplicity. We use 100% high-quality linen, a natural fiber valued for its breathability, durability, and subtle texture. Lightweight and airy, it is perfect for warmer days and equally suited for layered styling throughout the year. Over time, linen becomes softer and develops an even more personal character.

To preserve its beauty, gentle care is essential. Linen can be washed by hand or in the washing machine. For bold colors, hand washing (especially for the first wash) is recommended to help maintain color intensity. Use lukewarm water with a mild detergent and, if desired, a splash of natural vinegar.

When machine washing, select a delicate cycle at a maximum of 30°C with a mild detergent free from optical brighteners. Do not overload the drum, and wash garments inside out to reduce friction. Use a low spin speed (maximum 800) and avoid tumble drying, as heat may cause shrinkage and weaken the fibers.

Air dry naturally and gently reshape while slightly damp. Lay flat or hang, depending on the design. The natural creases are part of linen’s charm, but it can be lightly steamed or ironed for a more polished finish.

Store clean and completely dry in a cool place away from direct sunlight, allowing each piece enough space to breathe. With proper care, linen remains a timeless staple in your wardrobe for years to come

VISCOSE

Our viscose fabric is known for its soft, smooth texture and breathable qualities, making it a perfect choice for comfortable and lightweight garments. It drapes beautifully while offering a luxurious feel.

To keep your viscose pieces in the best possible condition, it’s important to handle them with care. While viscose items can be machine washed at a maximum temperature of 30°C, we recommend hand washing them with a mild liquid detergent for the gentlest and most effective treatment. After washing, avoid wringing out the fabric. Instead, gently squeeze out any excess water and lay the garment flat to dry, helping it maintain its shape and texture.

Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, artificial light, or moisture can impact the quality of the fabric, so it’s best to store and dry viscose items in a shaded, dry place. If ironing is necessary, be sure to use a low heat setting and place a cloth between the iron and the garment to protect the fabric from direct heat and prevent damage. With thoughtful care, your viscose garments will stay soft, smooth, and beautiful for a long time.

DENIM

Our denim items with leather details combine the strength of high-quality denim with the natural refinement of leather. With wear, the denim develops its own character, while the leather gains depth and suppleness over time. To allow both materials to age beautifully, careful and gentle care is essential.

Wash these pieces by hand only and only when necessary. Often, airing or spot cleaning is sufficient. Use cold to lukewarm water with a mild detergent. Keep the leather areas as dry as possible and avoid prolonged soaking. Gently press out excess water without wringing to preserve the garment’s shape and structure.

Allow the item to air dry naturally, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. While still slightly damp, gently reshape the garment to help maintain its original fit. If the leather feels slightly stiff once completely dry, a small amount of leather conditioner can be applied to restore suppleness.

If the leather detail is visibly soiled or heavily stained, we recommend taking the garment to a professional leather specialist to ensure the quality of both the leather and denim is properly preserved.

With attentive hand washing and careful drying, denim and leather will retain their timeless character and quality season after season.

COTTON

Twill cotton jackets are defined by their balance of durability and quiet sophistication. The signature diagonal weave enhances the fabric’s resilience while adding subtle dimension to its surface. Structured yet breathable, twill cotton offers comfort without compromising on form, making it a reliable choice for refined outerwear.

To maintain its character, thoughtful care is key. Clean only when truly needed. In many cases, allowing the garment to air out or gently treating small spots is enough. If washing becomes necessary, turn the jacket inside out and secure all fastenings to minimize abrasion. Wash at a maximum of 30°C using a gentle detergent. Use a gentle spin cycle to protect the fibers and help maintain the garment’s shape.

Heat should be avoided, as it may lead to shrinkage and reduce the fabric’s strength. Do not tumble dry. Instead, let the jacket dry naturally in open air, away from direct sunlight or artificial heat.

With attentive maintenance, twill cotton continues to mature gracefully, keeping its strength while developing a subtle, lived-in depth that enhances its timeless appeal.
